Flick Gocke Schaumburg appoints 9 partners and 13 associated partners from its own ranks

As of January 1, 2018, Flick Gocke Schaumburg has appointed nine partners and 13 associated partners from its own ranks.

Dr Jan Bron, LL.M., Dr Andreas Erdbrügger, Dr Michael Holtz, Dr Christian Jehke, LL.M., Dr Markus Keuthen, Dr Christian Kirchhain, LL.M., Daniel Liebchen, Dr Finn Lubberich, LL.M., and Prof Dr Vassil Tcherveniachki have been promoted to equity partners. As associated partners have been appointed: Sven-Eric Bärsch, Dr Christian Bochmann, LL.M., Daniel Dreßler, Carolin Gottschling, LL.M., Dr Alexander Hasbach, Dr Anja Herb, Dr Andreas Höpfner, Dr Susann Karnath, Jan König, Dr Dietmar Lange, Dr Bernhard Liekenbrock, Dr Carsten Quilitzsch, LL.M., and Dr Andreas Wirtz.

With the beginning of the new year, Flick Gocke Schaumburg now counts 63 equity partners and 57 associated partners in Berlin, Bonn, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt/M, Hamburg and Munich.

Our new equity partners:

Dr. Jan Bron, LL.M.oec. (37), tax advisor at the Frankfurt office, specializes in succession and the structuring of corporate and private assets. He also supports entrepreneurs and (family) businesses on tax issues, company sales and restructurings. Jan Bron joined Flick Gocke Schaumburg in 2013 and became an associated partner in 2015. In addition to his tax practice, he is a lecturer at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.

Dr. Andreas Erdbrügger
(44) is a lawyer and tax advisor specializing in indirect tax. He also advises public and non-profit organizations on issues relating to VAT and income tax. Andreas Erdbrügger has been working in the Berlin office of Flick Gocke Schaumburg since 2013, since 2014 as associated Partner. He is a lecturer at the Free University of Berlin for VAT law, and is also a member of the working group VAT and in the working group Tax Compliance Management of the IDW e.V ..

Dr. Michael Holtz
(38), lawyer, certified inheritance lawyer, certified tax lawyer, advises family businesses and private clients on wealth and succession planning. He also supports his clients in all inheritance and family law matters. He joined Flick Gocke Schaumburg in 2007 and has been an associated partner at the Bonn office since 2014.

Dr. Christian Jehke, LL.M.

He specializes in tax criminal and commercial criminal law and represents his clients, in particular, in complex tax criminal proceedings at the interface to corporate tax law, compliance issues and tax litigation. He is a lecturer for tax law and litigation at the European University Viadrina.

Dr. Markus Keuthen
(43) is a lawyer and tax advisor in Düsseldorf specializing in corporate and corporate tax law. In addition, international tax law, restructurings and advice to family businesses are his main areas of practice. He has joined the firm in Bonn in 2009 and was appointed associated partner in 2014.

Dr. Christian Kirchhain. LL.M. (43), lawyer, certified tax lawyer and tax advisor, advises on taxation of companiew under public law and tax exempt organizations. He has been working for Flick Gocke Schaumburg in Bonn since 2007, since 2014 as associated partner. In the master program "LL.M. Corporate Tax Law " at the University of Cologne, he regularly speaks on the taxation of NPO.

Dr. Daniel Liebchen
(39), tax advisor at the Hamburg and Bonn office, specializes in corporate tax law and international tax law. He has particular know-how on transfer pricing, permanent establishments, mutual agreement and arbitration, APA and supplementary taxation. Daniel Liebchen joined Flick Gocke Schaumburg in 2009, and was appointed associated partner in 2015.

Dr. Finn Lubberich, LL.M.
(39) is a lawyer and notary at Flick Gocke Schaumburg office in Frankfurt/M since 2015. In addition to his notarial services, he regularly advises on cross-border M&A transactions, financings, restructurings and real estate transactions. Prior to joining Flick Gocke Schaumburg, he worked for Paul Hastings and Baker & McKenzie.

Prof. Dr. Vassil Tcherveniachki
(38) tax advisor at the Bonn office, advises clients on all aspects of national and international corporate tax law. His specializes on transfer pricing, cross-border restructurings and M&A transactions. He joined the law firm in 2009 and became an associated partner in 2014. Since 2015, he lectures as an honorary professor at the University of Saarland.
