Flick Gocke Schaumburg has advised Banijay Germany on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Sony Pictures Film- und Fernseh Produktions GmbH. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval.

The directory team, Astrid Quentell and Mirek Nitsch, will remain in position of the company, which is soon to undergo a name change.

Sony Pictures Film- und Fernseh Produktions GmbH is well-known for producing e.g. the German TV broadcast „Die Höhle der Löwen“.
