We hope you can join us for the twelfth session of our event series “Global mobility – A legal & tax journey for private clients” on 12 August 2024. This comprehensive series is particularly tailored to the needs and interests of family-owned businesses and private clients.

Our webinar will focus on the legal and tax law features of private foundations in Liechtenstein, and explain how these foundations are seen from a German perspective. Using case studies, we will examine scenarios in which a Liechtenstein foundation can be strategically utilised, as well as presenting the potential tax risks in Germany.

Our speakers:

Dr Tanja Schienke-Ohletz advises clients on cross-border inheritance tax planning and on the cross-border relocation of high-net-worth private clients. In addition, she deals with the legal and tax aspects of domestic and foreign family foundations and estates, offering insights into the German perspective on structures such as the Anglo-American trust. Particularly, she also advises on cross-border wealth and succession planning between France and Germany.
