Flick Gocke Schaumburg has advised the French healthtech company Doctolib on tax law and social security law aspects in connection with the acquisition of the German artificial intelligence (AI) startup Aaron.ai.

Founded in 2015, and based in Berlin, Aaron.ai specializes in interactive, AI-supported voice assistants. Its aim is to improve communication between patients and doctor’s surgeries. Over 3,500 medical professionals in Germany currently use Aaron.ai’s voice assistant and task manager to automate appointment booking, prescription referrals, document requests and other patient requests. <<<
